“Italian by birth, British by choice, linguist by trade, factotum by nature”.
I am and always have been the go-to person for anything, really, always involved in everything going on around me. That is, I believe, how I moved from being a teacher to being the Registrar.
After teaching English to Italian and international students in schools and companies, first in Italy and then in the UK, I have found the organization and support aspects of the job to be extremely fascinating. I still teach occasionally, but my job now mostly involves making sure that everything runs smoothly, bringing in new ideas to offer our students the best overall experience in London, and generally being there for them for their every need. I am the school’s first aider, I can advise on the route to take to improve your English and assess your skills, and am generally there to help with any requests and be sure that you are happy in and (when possible) out of school. Being an immigrant myself, I share your experience and needs – and I am here to support you.
Teaching and working with people require using your voice a lot, which I am quite used to, as I am also a singer. Other interests of mine include boardgames, Dungeons & Dragons, crafts of all sorts, videogames, cooking and reading a lot.
