The London Explorer programme takes place at our Tottenham Court Road site and combines English Language learning and cultural visits around London: itineraries can be tailored to meet the needs of individual groups throughout the year.
An exciting activity programme will complement lessons and give students a great cultural experience of England. All programmes are varied, age-relevant and offer opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, leisure and much more.
The London Explorer programme is available individual young learners in Summer from 6th July -14th August with an optional activities programme.

The school
The school is in a four-story building on Tottenham Court Road, and we are only minutes away from the West End, Soho, Piccadilly, Regent Street and Covent Garden.
Learning
Our language programmes are designed to make learning dynamic and interactive. Using stimulating materials for young learners, lessons aim to build confidence in communication, problem solving and critical thinking. Students will also learn about culture in the UK.
Our teachers
Mayfair teachers are selected for their qualifications and experience. All are native level English-speakers with a TEFL qualification and at least two years’ experience. Regular teacher development sessions ensure that they are familiar with current practice in language teaching.
Accommodation
Hotels, homestay and student residences are all within easy reach of the school, and you can select accommodation to suit your preferences and budget. Specialist accommodation providers offer an excellent choice of host family accommodation in all zones of London.
Activities
Our lively social programme includes a variety of fun trips and activities where students can experience the vibrant atmosphere of London. Students can also enjoy an optional full-day excursion to Oxford, Cambridge or Brighton.
Welfare
Our top priority is student safety and well-being and all activities are risk assessed by senior members of the team. We also ensure that each and every student is comfortable, confident and happy for the duration of their stay.

Airport transfers
Only individuals aged 16 and 17 may attend a course without an accompanying adult.
At the airports, all MSE staff will carry a large MSE sign for ease of identification. With an arrival at an airport before 06:00 am or after 21:00 pm and with departure from the college before 06:00am or after 21:00 pm, an extra charge of £50 will apply for a return journey.

Prices are for one-way, one-person trips.
Unaccompanied Minors
For students travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) with airlines, there will be a charge of £65. This will ensure there is a named person to meet and greet and sign for UM students.
Upon departure all UMs will be handed to the relevant airline staff after check in and in most cases, the MSE named person will wait with the student until airline staff takes him/her to the aircraft.

Each MSE centre has its own action-packed activity programme to complement lessons and give students a great cultural experience of England. Groups will have a have a tailor-made programme to suit their preferences. Our commitment to student welfare
Our top priority is our students’ safety and well-being. Our very experienced welfare staff ensure that each and every student is well cared for and fully supervised. All MSE staff working with young learners are DBS checked and trained in Safeguarding. Families hosting young learners, taxi drivers and all other staff working with young learners are also DBS checked.
Accommodation
We offer a great choice of comfortable accommodation options. Young Learners can live like locals with a host family, share a room in a student residence, enjoy a taste of campus life, or even stay in accommodation with their own family.
Outstanding location
The school is in the heart of London and very conveniently located near to underground stations and on main bus routes. There are many places of interest within a short walk of the school and many more just a short bus or tube ride away.
