Christmas Lights on Oxford Street
This Week at MSE On Tuesday we held a party to celebrate the turning on of the Christmas lights on Oxford Street with our students. We enjoyed some festive mulled wine, snacks and lots of great conversation before the hotly anticipated illuminations were turned on at 6.30pm. The event was a chance for our students, who come from all over the world, to have fun with their classmates or make new friends and enjoy socialising with each other. They also learnt a little about the British Christmas tradition of drinking ‘mulled wine’ which is red wine infused with cinnamon, orange, cloves and other spices. Some students really loved it but others were not too sure and probably won’t be trying it again anytime soon!
The lights on Oxford Street will be switched on every evening from now until Christmas and are spectacular; a definite must see in London this Christmas!
