Cambridge Exam Preparation
Combine a B2 or C1 class with some useful and effective preparation for either the Cambridge First or Cambridge Advanced (formerly FCE and CAE) exams. Our unique programme gives you the opportunity to develop your language skills whilst studying for an internationally recognised qualification.
The aim of the course is to build on general English language skills whilst also preparing for a Cambridge exam.

Cambridge Exam PreparationBuild your exam strategy
|One-to-one mentoring sessions||
You will work with an experienced Cambridge tutor for two one-hour sessions per week and complete practice exams as follows:
Session 1: Introduction to the exam paper and strategies to help you succeed.
Session 2: One full Cambridge practice exam completed under exam conditions.
Session 3: Individual feedback on your exam with guidance for areas of weakness.
Week 1 = Reading and Use of English
Week 2 = Listening
Week 3 = Writing
Week 4 = Speaking

Cambridge B2 First
Cambridge First is a very popular exam that is accepted by thousands of businesses and educational institutions worldwide. This exam is the logical next step when you reach B2 / C1 levels in your language learning journey.

Cambridge C2 Advanced
Cambridge Advanced is a high-level qualification that demonstrates proficiency in English and is a level that is often needed for professional purposes and for access to higher education.

This is a four-week course where General English language study is supplemented by one-to-one Cambridge exam mentoring plus a full weekly exam
paper. In the main part of your course, you will improve overall skills in English and in the Cambridge mentoring sessions, you will develop the exam
techniques needed to pass B2 First or C1 Advanced exams.
The exam sessions are taught by teachers who are experienced in Cambridge exam preparation.
The approach in General English is communicative with a focus on all skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
You will work with a core language text book, an exam text book plus exam practice papers.
Your teacher will work with you in your weekly tutorials to ensure that you are making appropriate progress.
Guidance and support from the Director of Studies is available to help you progress.
