MAYFAIR SCHOOL RAISES FUNDS TO HELP THE WORST AFFECTED ECUADOR

Friday’s fundraising endeavour in Greenwich proved to be a great success!

Supported by our students from Latin America and other countries, Mayfair School launched  an appeal to raise money to help those affected by the earthquake in Ecuador.

This was one of the strongest earthquakes to hit Ecuador in decades.

A deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Ecuador last month killing more 650 people and injuring more than 7,000 people.  Homes, schools and health centres were destroyed

More than 150,000 children were affected and urgently need clean water, life-saving food and health care.

Donations were made by Mayfair students as well as the public in Greenwich where Mayfair was supporting the  Ecuadorean Embassy in this appeal.  This was just the first step towards our target of £2000 to help those in need.

Our thanks go to all who donated generously and also to the students who helped us organise this campaign.
