Our Academic Year is one of our most popular courses. When you join a Mayfair School Academic Year you will have the opportunity to increase your fluency in English, make new friends from all over the world and improve your career prospects.

On the Academic Year you will benefit from long-term language study while immersed in British life and culture. You will also benefit from long holidays during which you can travel within the UK or, depending on your leave to remain status if you are a non-EEA citizen, work full-time to practise your English and supplement your income. All you need to do is make sure that you finish your course in one calendar year.

On our 36-week Academic Year programme, you will study for 36 weeks of the year in three terms of 12 weeks (between these terms you will have to take holidays), allowing you to combine your study time with breaks during which you can travel and enjoy all the cultural opportunities that London and the United Kingdom have to offer. Remember you can choose a Full-time or Semi-intensive Academic Year and study for 15 or 21 hours per week.

Our *standard Academic Year course fees (see below) provide exceptional value for money as they allow you to study at any time of day and change to any of our specialist language programmes such as IELTS for LIFE, IELTS for STUDY, Business English or Cambridge exam preparation (FCE, CAE, CPE, ILEC) courses whenever you wish without paying a supplement.
