The Academic Year is one of our most popular courses. When you join a Mayfair School Academic Year you will have the opportunity to increase your fluency in English, make new friends from all over the world and improve your career prospects.

On the Academic Year you will benefit from long-term language study while immersed in British life and culture. You can adapt your course to suit your personal needs by including exam preparation courses to help you get ready for university or employment.

You will also benefit from our flexible timetable and holiday arrangements that allow you to organise your course dates and times to suit you. All you need to do is make sure that you finish your course in one calendar year. In the 36-week Academic Year, you will study for 36 weeks of the year in three terms of 12 weeks (between these terms you will have to take holidays), allowing you to combine your study time with breaks during which you can travel and enjoy all the cultural opportunities that London and the United Kingdom have to offer. Remember you can choose a Standard or Standard Plus Academic Year and study for 15 or 21 hours per week.
