Mayfair School awarded three 'point of excellence' by British Council
Our school was re-inspected by Accreditation UK in November 2009 and our British Council accreditation has been extended until March 2014. We are also pleased to announce that the school has been awarded three 'points of excellence' in the area of academic management, placing it in the top 20% of British Council schools in the United Kingdom according to this ranking.

MAYFAIR COLLEGE curriculum expanded on 11 January 2010
Our school is now accredited by both the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). Following the successful launch of our ABE Certificate course in Business Management and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management in June 2009, we are pleased to announce that, as of 11 January 2010, the MAYFAIR COLLEGE curriculum has expanded to include an ABE Diploma in Business Management and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Students can enrol into MAYFAIR COLLEGE, an integrated faculty of the Mayfair School of English Ltd, offering university pathway courses in Business Management and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management. The following courses are currently offered:
- ABE Certificate and Diploma in Business Management
- ABE Certificate and Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management
Our programme will expand to include the ABE Advanced Diploma in Business Management and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management from January 2011.
Students who have successfully completed a MAYFAIR COLLEGE course to Advanced Diploma level will be eligible to progress onto the third year of a related BA/BSc Honours Degree at one of over 20 universities in the UK.

Work Placement
In partnership with Professionals UK, we are pleased to offer unpaid work placement positions to students who have completed a course at the school*. These placements can be between 4 weeks and 6 months and in areas such as architecture, fashion, administration and advertising. A work placement can provide valuable experience in your field in an English-speaking environment and is a real strength on your CV. Many areas are available and at a very reasonable price. Revised IELTS Programmes
We offer our students a choice of two IELTS programmes to cover both strands of the internationally recognised IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination.
Our new IELTS for LIFE option is a General English course that prepares students to take the IELTS General Training Examination, which is useful for all students who require proof of their English level for general purposes and wish to bolster their CV. This course is suitable for intermediate students and above. Students may enrol on this course in any week of the year and need pay no more than our standard General English prices.
In addition we also have a new, extended twelve-week course of Academic English called IELTS for STUDY. This course prepares students to take the IELTS Academic Training Examination and is essential for all students who are considering applying to a university or college in the UK in the future. This course is suitable for upper-intermediate students and above. Students may enrol on this course in any week of the year.
